Hi all

Just returned home after 3 weeks at Gran Mirador and with the help of other owners on holiday/living at Gran Mirador the pool is looking good along with the gardens etc. Together we all worked to clear the dead plants, purchase chemicals to clean the pool and repair the watering system. Mario would not do anything to help. The Norwegian community who have purchased approx 12 apartments have a mini community set up and they have paid towards the upkeep of the failing electricity system. We change the locks on the electrical supply room and the pool pump house as Mario was medling with equipment stating things were broken when he had only turned them off. Copys are available to all via Bob see below.

Bob Barclay an apartment owner, who also lives close by is trying to make contact with as many owners as possible, he will shortly have the details of the new owners, Bob is happy to maintain the pool and keep us all updated, I can foward individual e mails addresses to him if you send them to me. 

It is important we all talk, we need to keep Gran Mirador maintained as we don't know when the new owners will invest any money into the site.  

OPI are now refusing to have anything to do with the site

Hi all

I have just been notified that the pool and gardens on Gran Mirador 4 are not being maintined, the pool is going green and we wil likely end up with resident frogs as the summer heats up.

OPI in Campello are happy to organise a gardener and handyman, we are just awaiting costs.

Let me know your thoughts,

Also does anyone know how to get hold of Peter

Hi all

We have an apartment on Gran Mirador IV that has recently been broken into. The bathroom window had been forced open, they then made escape through the small bedroom window, they have damaged both windows slightly. we have discovered the shutters can be opened over a quarter of the way from the outside. Luckily the only thing taken was a small stereo. Our neighbours apartment was also attempted as marks have ben left on their windows. We are investing in the wrought iron grills for the windows.

We will be notifying Peter but I doubt much support will come from San Juan Urbana.

Hi

Spent a week at the apartment arriving back last Tuesday, everything was fairley quiet but new builders were on sight and they are supposed to be finishing the ground/gardens infront of the current appartments. Pool lights and lights in the car park areas are know working as they had been out for several weeks,  Did not hear anything about the golf course. Really pleased with our apartment and can,t wait to return.
