Hi hannybanny,

I have bought in Novo Arcos phase 1, and as my understanding is of this

development there are 2 more phases planned. My advice is to ask Sunset to take you to the builder’s office in Arcos were they have a model of the whole project.

 

I said before that I did pay extra for my garage in Phase 1 portal 5 and I have been told that Sunset have corrected this problem in the other portals 7,8,9,10,11 and 12., but its best to be safe so I would recommend that if you reserve a property get it stated on your reservation contract that the garage and storage is included in the price.

 

I went out with the intention of using my own lawyer in the UK and ended up using Luis Mendez  as he seems to have extensive knowledge of the development and he has seemed to act in my best interest up till now and I realised it is important on completion for my connection for water, gas and electricity.

 

My UK lawyer could not offer me this service.

 

I have been out on a few different inspection trips and had a nightmare in Turkey and didn’t like Morocco I found Arcos and the people there friendly. The Location is excellent along with the price, the only draw back to this apartment is storage space so it’s important to check you are getting parking and storage in the price.

Hi, im buying a property in Novo Arcos in Portal 5 and have paid my 30%
(Tip) I used HIFX and got better rate of exchange than the bank. In
response to the parking space I spoke to Sunset Estates whom informed me my property did not come with a garage and it would cost me €7000 more, the reason they gave me is that Portal 2,3,5 and 6 plans changed when there license was granted and there builders only informed them of this at that stage, which I checked out and found to be true. I also found that the apartments in Portal 7,8,9,10,11 and 12 include parking spaces in the price and the price reflects that. I also had a pre valuation from the BBK bank done and I have found my property is worth 25% more than my purchase price and the BBK bank also valued my parking at €12,000 so I was prepared to a pay the extra to buy it.. I also went out to TURKEY on an inspection tour. The apartments were basic we went to the TURGETRES market on the Saturday, there I was robbed, they slashed my bag open on my back and stole over 200 in English money. On the morning I was due home my bag was also stolen in it my passports and mobile phone. I didn’t get to fly home till later that night after I had been to the British consulate office and had to pay for emergency passports. The first choice staffs were very helpful. I shall certainly think twice about going back to turkey. I have sent email after email to the jasmine beach apartments to enquire if my bag has ever been handed in NO ONE HAS EVER BOTHERED TO GET BACK IN TOUCH WITH ME!!!!! DON’T GO TO TURKEY….!!!!!!!!!!
