We also used Firefly at Malaga airport and we're not happy with their attitude, not very helpful staff plus ripped off with the cost of fuel. Was charged 115Euros for a 50 litre tank of fuel and told to bring back empty. They also tried to persuade us to purchase extra insurance for roadside assistance when we had already bought CDW in Uk, we certainly will not use them again!!!

I do not want to know of dealers who are selling cars , the question I am asking is the forecourt advertised price the total amount I will have to pay or are there any ad dons e.g taxes?

I am looking to buy a used car from a local car dealership, My knowledge so Spanish is pretty non existent, so can anybody tell me of their experiences and what to do or not for example is the forecourt price the total price or is there any ad dons such as tax etc. Any recommendations/help/advice would be very helpful.

I have done lots of googling however I am stumped as to which/what dealerships are out there. I don't want to spend 2 or 3 days trawling around if anyone knows of specific dealerships who speak English it could save me time, which I don't have much of.

Also has anyone bought a new car recently ? What documents did they need, how did they pay for the car (cash, credit card?)

Anymore help would be really useful and thank you everyone who has replied to my thread so far
