Hi All,

I collected my documents from Lawyers of Spain in August 2008 and instructed Maria to cancel my contract which was done in September  2008. We finally won our court case in December 2010 but was told that they were going to Appeal although they had lodged our deposit with the Courts.

We have not had the decission on this appeal to date but have heard that someone has won the appeal and has been given a full refund including interest and costs.

We still have a property in Sabinillas and have just returned. El Patio is being advertised for sale by Key Properties in Duquesa but they all remain empty although they are being looked after and maintained.

Does anyone else have an update ar any news?

Since my last post on this site I have has no help from my lawyers, whcih were recomended to me by the agents which I originally purchased my apartment through and am now looking to cancel my contract with the developer. 

I belive there are many other people in the same situation and I have has contact via e mail from several people who would like to join forces and employ Maria Del Castro, Costa del luz Lawyers to obtain our money back.

I was also tod to complete on our appartment at El Patio but got a snagging company to do a report in december 2007 and hand it to the developer to complete the snagging but to date no work has been done. I visited the site in May 2008 and not much work has been done for several months.

Everone must of read that Evemarina are in financial difficulty and have not paid builders for some time so the fact that no work has been done for some time is not a surprise. We all have our deposits guaranteed with the bank so should get together to get a full refund. We have waited for over 6 months now as completion was due for December 2007 and it is now 27th June 2008.
