Hi conchi.....I know it's an appalling situation. I know a lot of people have probably walked away from it...and I can't say I blame them.....but I still think if there is anything that can be done...it's got to be still worth a try.   Tried to have a look at the colegio de abogades....but could not really find anything in English...and not sure what the site is.....if u get a mo...please advise...then I can try it a different way....thanks baby'sbaby's

Hi George...thanks for reply. I have a family member living in Spain who has just sent me some cuttings from a local paper..where it appears that some cases like ours..ie. No bank garentees are starting to win cases as the money by law is been obtained from the banks if the builders or landowners have gone bust. These solicitors that are taken on these cases are also operating a no win fee basis...thought it might be worth given it a go....and anyone else out there that might be interested.  I originally had a group solicitor going with some of the people on this website..but after sending all my original paperwork and approx £500..I have not heard from them for the last 3 years and don't seem to be able to make contact with them...so my fist fight is to try and get my documents back...although I have photocopies....

Well good luck yo you guys and I hope your enjoying your new apt. 

If anyone interested I can provide the name of the solicitors from the cutting out of the paper...let me know.
