Hola all,

We have just returned from 2 weeks in our apartment, phase2 number10,and had to be dragged kicking and screaming on to the plane. For those who hate returning from holidays to this wet wet country it is 10 times worse when you are staying in your own place. The squirrels were running up and down the trees and the temperature was 85 - 100.

Full time residents, for those who have not yet met them, there are Betty and Owen on phase1 and Mick and Sheila on phase 2. Visiting were Steve and Diane, Pat and Ray,Theresa and Ray, Nigel and Joanne. Much socialising and late nights. See Owen for some nifty clips that prevent the blinds being lifted from outside and Mick about deadbolt locks for the door. Also Mick has the phone number for a company that will pipe Sky to your apartment. For a one off payment of E600 you get BBC1, ITV1, CH4, Sky Sports1&2, Sky Movies1&2, Comedy, Cartoons and a mixed channel. 

The apartment finish was good but much cleaning is needed. Before using the washer check all the pipe connections are tight, we weren't the only ones caught out. Get a supply of candles, we had three power cuts. Also make sure you have a bottle of water handy as the mains pump went off with the last power cut. Water for the toilet? Take a bucket to the swimming pool.

Hola,

Phase 2  is now complete !!!  We signed Tuesday 3rd April, after our solicitors had found the bank had paid our money into someone elses account.  Apart from touching up the paint on the patio, the only problems are that the bath is chipped and the kitchen pack ( pots & pans etc.) had not arrived. Mick & Sheila are now in residence in No. 25...look them up when you go, nice people, very helpful. We will be out at the end of june when hopefully all will be sorted. Check out the photos, I have included our apartment to show the finish. Looking foreward to seeing you all eventually, regards, alan & glen

Hi,

I have sorted my computer/scanner at last and if you look at the photos for 7th Jan you will see P2 exterior, pool and P3 exterior. We are in touch with a number of people on P2 & P3 but no one on the groundfloor of P2 where we are. We can't be the only ones frightened of heights. Get in touch, regards alan &glen.

I have just returned from a visit to La Ap and everything seems to be going ok. I took some photos of 2&3 but unfortunately my computer has developed a mind of its own and wont send jpeg format. If anyone gets in touch I will try to download direct to them. We will be going out in April and hopefully it will be ready by then for signing !!!!!!!  alan & glen
