I completed on a Pebble beach appt. last june and have had no water bills/deductions from my bank account. ever since. The water is on and my lawyer says a contract is in place and payments are up to date!! Does anyone know the phone number of Mijas water SA so I can call thm to ask whats going on? Anyone else had a similar problem??

Hi Steve and Fiona. I've just posted some stuff on the site (We are in 1.05 Pebble Beach) about the hot water system. I don't know if you can help us about this when you are out there - or from your knowledge now!! As far as I can gather (and we havn't been able to get out yet) the teething problems of the grounds etc ARE being sorted. Our appt faces the 'water treatment' (ie sewage plant) and this came as a nasty shock but we have been told that this is going to be moved. I think it wll all be ok once things settle down. We will be comming out probably at the October half term. Please let me know you found things - and let me know about the hot water!

I am in in the uk at present and am having my (2 bed) appt in Pebble beach cleaned etc.and ready for rental The agent has told me he thinks that the hot water system is gas and that I need a gas contract to get the hot water going so I must speak to my lawyer etc... Its the first I've heard of this. In the blurb we got in the brochure all those years ago it says "hot water from electricity". Have they changed it or has the cleaner he sent in her to do the job made a mistake?!! Help
