Macanthony took us to the office in Torrievieja.  Macanthony completed the forms for us  We had to produce our passports and copies and passport size photos.  I think we queued for less than an hour then Macanthony collected them several weeks later and posted them to us.

Dave and I visited Roda in January and had a meeting with the rentals department at Macanthony (Adrian Flores).  He was very helpful and informative.  He said that there would no charge for advertising the property in the first year but there would be in subsequent years.  They would take 10% of the rental income and we could appoint them as keyholders if we wanted or we could choose another property management company.  He said we could expect about 16 weeks rental during the first year and more as the site developed.  They then offered to drive us to La Manga to show us one of their furniture packages.  It was ok but not what we are looking for.  They do other ranges but we would want to see them first. 

 

He did say he would e-mail all the information to us but this has not arrived and I have just e-mailed them to ask for it.

Have joined the forum today and  have found the site extremely interesting.  Have read everything.  Will continue to look at it regularly.

My husband and I are visiting the area in January with a view to buying/reserving furniture ready for when our apartment in Phase 2 is ready.  We are thinking of looking in San Javier.  Can anyone recommend anywhere?  Am also a bit concerned now as we are intending to rent out the property and didn't realise that we are required to purchase furniture packs from Roda.  So not quite sure what to do now.  Got our flights booked so will visit anyway.

Hi

We are Yvette and Dave and live near Market Harborough in Leicestershire.  We don't play golf but our son who is 23 is a very keen golfer.  We play a lot of tennis and look forward to seeing the tennis courts completed.  We will be in the area for 3 nights commencing January 25th and have booked a room at the 525 Hotel in Alcazares.
