All I can say is that we bought a 26" LCD with a built in dvd and freeview from ebuyer (link below to the 32" version.)

Everything worked fine, the voltage is the same and I had a euro lead for pc type connection as well. Just plug in the aerial co-ax and auto tune it in. Spain is PAL format the same as UK and as far as I understand it the freeview in the UK has one less channel than Spain. We got about 40+ channels including Disney and Sony channel that have english programmes.

Can't quite understand why you would need to run the co-ax through a spanish dvd as all it does is pass the signal straight through?

Went with Zurich from PW cost 225 for a ground floor apartment.

It was easier and seems to have a good level of cover, we plan to shop around next year.

Hi there,

We used Furniture Plus for part of our furniture and IKEA for the rest.  Furniture plus will deliver plus they were able to get our white goods (washing machine, dishwasher and fridge) for us, we found Christine very helpful. They are based in Purias near Lorca, about 30 minute drive. They have some nice furniture, not the cheapest but good quality, if you are selective the prices are resonable.

We also came across Flatpaxabia who provide a shop and deliver facility from IKEA, they will also put up curtain poles and assemble flat pack if you need.

This means when we go back in October (hopefully) all our furniture will be delivered.

BTW we are in Jardines 9, 1027 so hi to any of our neighbours out there. Especially 1028 above us and 1029 next door to us drop us a pm if you are out there.

Here are some more detailed directions, hope they help.

Directions:

From the Airport follow the signs for Granada and Almeria AP7 / E15. Stay on the motorway and as you come to Murcia city continue to follow the signs for Granada. Continue on the motorway heading for Granada and Almeria. As you near Alhama de Murcia look for Junction 627. Get into the Right lane for both the 627A/B. (The first turn off (627A) is for Alhama de Murcia). Take the 627B exit which is immediately after 627A (sharp RT) – signed ‘Beaches de Mazarron’ and ‘Mazarron Cartegena’. At Junction 627B you merge with the RM2.Take the second exit which is junction 4 (it goes from Junction 1 straight to Junction 4 – missing out 2&3) for Mazarron and the road is now the RM23. Condado de Alhama will be signposted shortly after.

When arriving at the roundabout at the Resort, go Right = 1st Exit, keep driving – next roundabout straight on, at the next roundabout go back on yourself, veer first right into the carparking area, look for a gap in the security railing approx 300 metres up (you will see a security hut).
