To all Residents

Apparently IBI (Council Tax) was in operation on our apartments since 2009.

I had not a single Bill in the post.

My lawyer obtained the bills from the Council from 2009 to 2012 and they amounted to Euro 925.

Apparently the reason being at some stage the street number of Avenida des los dispotivos was changed and the council has been sending the bills to the wrong address.

Hi

No need for a specialist to do snagging,

With my apartment, the only fault was the kitchen door, which they replaced.

Other than that, all faults were just cosmetic,

I personally tried by writing to Arenal for price reduction but they just would not budge.

I am surprised that you just found out about this forum, Its been quite useful since it was startred in August 2006.

Hi all

From my point of view ARCGISA should demand payment of Euro 12,000 from Jimena Council.

Jimena Council should have checked that the sewage was connected to the mains before granting a licence for First habitation.

We heard about the sewage fiasco last summer which is where this water problem emanates.

Then perhaps Arenal would have sorted it out if they wanted the licence for First Habitation.
