They are probably talking about a 'Padron' which is obtained from your nearest town hall, i.e. Torre Pacheco. It states that you live in the area and is normally necessary for things like car papers and normally it must be up to 3 months old.Easy to obtain, you don't need to be a resident, just take a couple of bills with your name and address on them.

Everyone seems to be concerned about Coppola's bar and resto but no-one seems to be able to spell the name correctly....doesn't help people who may like to look the place up on the internet, not that there's much info about it.

Hiya,
we're also out for a few weeks from the 17th March, at least a month I would think. We're on the island in block 163 3G almost always at Coppolas around sunset unless we're in our new house some nights.
