Well, it's four years on and we're still waiting!  (reduced number of ) Villas in this development have been built, but long list of snags outstanding on ours, and as yet no Habitation Licence :o(

Is anyone else in the same situation?  Have you managed to find out why the Habitation Licenses haven't been granted yet?  Any information would be welcome.  Many thanks

Hi, we are close to completing on our purchase of a property on the Vistas del Guardiana development in Costa Esuri, Ayamonte (after signing up 4 years ago!) and would be interested in contacting anyone else who is in a similar situation.  We are already in touch with another couple who will be near-neighbours and we have all found this very useful, keeping each other updated with progress (or lack of it!) over the long wait for completion.  Please get in touch via EOS.

Hi - we are buying a villa here and have been waiting patiently for a building license to be issued.  Evenutally, a year later than expected, this happened a few months ago, but we haven't been able to get back to the plot to see if any work has started.  Can anyone tell us if any earth moving has taken place and if the foundations have been started yet please?  We understand that completion of all of the villas will be around the end of 2009  although  our solicitor reckons it will be February 2010 before habitation certificates have been issued.   We'd love to hear from you if we're going to be neighbours.

Update: January 2008

We have now received photographs from the agents, showing that work has now started on the plots and tons of earth are being moved around - hooray!
