UPDATE - Just to let anybody know that I have not heard back from Raul the developer or Lawrence from the administrator Condominium Services. After sounding positive to start with, neither of them have had the decency to return my messages. I have asked both of them to call an AGM and invite all owners to attend. Raul has told me that the funds are very low because lots of owners are not paying their fees. The President of another Community has told me that any empty apartment fees have to be paid for by the developer ! Draw your own conclusions as to who is not paying. At an AGM the administrator will bring all the costings with him so we can see who is not paying and use the law if necessary to help. I may be surprised and receive a letter shortly informing me of an AGM, somehow I doubt it. I can't do anymore than I have already. If any owners want to contact Raul or Lawrence and ask about the AGM, their contacts are raulasanchez@hotmail.com and 'ljordan@condominium-net.com'

I was referring to owners on phase 1, if you are on phase 1 and have waited 3 years for your furniture then this is truly appalling and wish you every luck in trying to get this done. Not everyone on this development has gone down the furniture package/rental scheme route with OVP. I arranged my furniture, AC and kitchen and rent long term. I am interested in this for the long term so am therefore very interested in having a say on its upkeep. The President of our Community (and presumably on the other phases) is currently the developer Jet Plus which is not healthy for us owners. So, my request was for any owners on phase 1 to hassle Condominium Services for the name of the President so we can call an AGM and elect our own.

I have today found out that our friend Raul is the current President of the Community of Owners. I have asked him to let me know about how to organise an AGM to elect a President from the owners. He has told me that the funds we pay per month only cover for an upkeep of the site and that there is no money available to cover the cost of Satellite installation which he somehow has estimated at 15,000 euros !! I'm really not sure where he has got this figure from but I'm sure we can do better. Once we get together we can have more of a say in improving the site. ie. replacing the hideous fence around the pool, sorting the problem about security and the always open gate, Satellites, or whatever suggestions there might be. I'm still unsure about how phase 1 links with the more recent phases with regards the fees, I have heard that owners on phases 2 and 3 have been using the pool in phase 1, but who's paying for its upkeep ? There is a lot to talk about which we can all do at an AGM. I will post again with further information from Raul when I have it.

I own a property on phase 1. I have been trying now for several weeks to get an answer about the Community of Owners and when there is going to be an AGM. Condominium Services answer my emails roughly 2 weeks after I send them which has made research very difficult. I too am very concerned about the number of Satellite dishes at the site. Condominium have told me that individual Satellite dishes are illegal on Community developments and that the owners under Spanish law have the power to enforce their removal. Condominium have said that this is an issue for the Community and that this must be addressed at the owners AGM which is arranged by the President. The problem is that no-one can tell me who the President is. He/she is listed as Jet Plus (the developer) with no individual contact details. I have asked Raul (a contact from the developer) to help but have yet to hear from him. I can fully understand why people would want a Satellite dish but surely it is better to act as a group on such matters. Individuals should really respect other owners. Its going to be really easy to arrange a dish on the top of each block. Only when we elect our own President can we move the site forward and arrange Satellite for everyone who wants it (me included). We can then have a say on a lot more things including security. This way we can avoid it looking like "council flats" and put our input into improving the site. But everyone, it is not going to happen unless you make an effort and stop expecting others to do it for you. I urge all owners on phase 1 to contact Condominium Services and Jet Plus (if you have a number because I don't) and ask who is the President and when is the AGM. If anyone knows more than I have been able to find out please let me know.

Come on owners, get involved !!!!!!

Hi folks. I have just returned from a visit to the area but have not took any photos. The first development on the right as you turn up the hill seems to have ground to a halt. I had heard there has been a planning issue with the height of  this building which may be why it appears to have stopped. The conclusion is that the road is still a mud bath more so now because it has been raining a lot there recently. The new development on the left in front of phase 1 is well under way. They have built a tennis court and a pool and virtually finished what looks like the first of 3 or 4 other blocks. Those in phase 1 who thought they had a sea view are going to be very annoyed. This new development appears to be 4 or 5 stories high bit this might be because the first block being built is lower down the hill at the front. Time will tell ! I actually went for a drive up the hill to look at the other developments for the first time. I had no idea how many were up there, its going to be very dusty for years to come ! Theres a great opportunity for someone with a food shop or bar. On the plus side all our phases appear to have matured more. Villapac appeared to be busy there still although there is still a lot of apartments without owners. I think more people than we think have not completed. Does anyone know when the Community of Owners meeting is ? I thought we were supposed to have communal satellite dishes that everyone can plug into.
