Correct, Block 26 is isolated and really does present an easy target for thieves. We own a ground floor apartment and were broken into last Friday. The thieves smashed through the outer glazed units we had fitted around the utility area and smashed through the back door to gain entry. The good news is that they only took the flatscreen TV and left everything else untouched. They made their getaway through the main patio windows at the front.

We are now thinking about fitting an alarm, but we're still not sure how much of a deterrent this will really be.

Apparently the authorities have opened the access road to the side of the development which had been previously blocked off. This makes it so easy for the burglars to enter and leave the development undetected.

Can I take this opportunity to thank Lorraine and Natalie from 'Mi Casa Tu Casa' who notified me immediately as soon as they discovered the break-in and for waiting for the police to arrive before arranging full repairs. We very much appreciate your help and assistance.
