We got a lot of our stuff from ikea in Malaga.  With a view that if we are renting it out we don't want to spend a fortune on furniture that other people are going to use and possibly abuse.  You can hire a van from ikea also to take your purchases down the coast, all very handy.

Hi

Yeah, we got into our apartment on 28th August with one other apartment also completing that day.  Some more completed on the following Monday and Tuesday and apparently about 30 people wil complete the remainder of this month.  The finish of the apartments is excellent however the complex still has a bit of work going on and sometimes feels like you shouldn't be there yet!  
The foreman and some workmen are still on site and were more than happy to answer any queries or sort out any small problems we came across such as our parking space not having been marked out yet and wires for the lights not having been pulled through in the bathroom.

Thanks very much for the info.  , you seem to be a lot more informed than us.  I think I'll be calling our lawyer on Monday to get some answers.  The person we were dealing with at Sabadell Atlantico is on holidays for the next two weeks but Snr Gomez must be picking up her emails as he got in touch with me through the week. We are still no further though as to knowing if the mortgage is in place and we are just then waiting on the legals.  We called in with the bank at the beginning of February and still nothing appears to have been done with regard our mortgage application.  
I didn't know anything about the saving on stamp duty by taking the developer's mortgage, thank-you for that info.  
If you hear anything else, please keep us informed.

Hi all

Has anyone had any contact with the developer recently regarding completion of the apartments?  I was in touch with the develper and they advised that everything was with the town hall for sign off and completion may begin in mid-August?  Also is anyone having any difficulty with Banco Sabadell Atlantico, for the subrogation of the developers mortgage?  We are finding the bank very slow and not forthcoming with information on the mortgage and what stage of the process we are at.  

Have there been any more movements in relation to the swimming pool at the front of the development?

Hi

We were out at the development a week or two ago.  They are currently landscaping round the development and there is no sign of the pool at the front of the development.  We got up into our actual apartment and walked through the building to the show flat.  It is all loking great and is well on, with just all the finishings being done now.  We didn't ask again about the beachfront pool because there was no sign at all of anything other than tidying up of the front of the building.  The response from Ros y Falcon in September was that they weren't going to do the pool at the front.  Sorry!
