I have a penthouse apartment and wish to replace the exterior doors to the balcony. Has anyone had this done and can anyone recommend a contractor that can undertake the work.

Hi all,

We are in Corvera at the moment enjoying a wonderful stay! We are going into town for a bite to eat and would love to have a couple of drinks and OH would prefer not to drive! Is there a local taxi company we might use?

Hi all,

I'm back with another question. Can I thank those of you that have answered my other questions BTW.

Our first visit to our apartment was in January, we bought, beds and a sofas and loads of other bits. My OH has decided to have an input and wants TV and internet sorting on our next trip in May but I dont know where to begin?

How do I go about getting my apartment internet connected?

Can anyone recommend a provider?

Also he'll want a TV package, same questions really.

Hi all,

Well, we've completed, I felt a lot of pressure to complete before the negotiations surrounding the airport were signed on the dotted line. I felt that I needed to buy quickly before the prices 'rocketed' or 'doubled' as I was led to believe! 

Now, we have our apartment and we are delighted with it. We love the town and feel the urbanisation has so much potential and we feel the views from our penthouse are breathtaking. We'd love for the golf course to re-open but, we actually loved walking around it, even in its current state.

I'm a natural worrier so of course, now we've completed, I'm now considering what are the actual implications of the airport being so close? I've only ever considered the positives but what do you guys think? Will my beautiful views be spoiled? Will it be horribly noisy? How do you think the property prices will be affected?

I'd love to hear opinions, especially from those that have owned for a while, and new owners I suppose!

If we could keep responses on the forum and not via PM. I love to lurk sometimes and have noticed a lot of replies on this forum are sent via PM. (not good for us noseys)
