I asked my Spanish neighbour about similar & related matters & they informed me that the water, basura (rubbish) & sewage were being combined into a quarterly charge & right enough this appears as an "additional" quaterly direct debit as " Empresa Minicipal de Aguas de Benalmadena" so I'm now confused.

I will speak again to my neighbours when I see them again & find out what exactly is going on as it looks like I'm stumping up for the same thing twice to 2 different entrprises,
