Is there anyone out there needing two single beds? We have purchased a new double and need to sell the two singles on. Reasonable offers accepted, the money made from them is going to charity, Andreas's Animal Rescue. They are in good condition, only been used a few times, as in spare bedroom.

I agree with you John and Wendy, but unfortunately as Tina says, to heat and light Coppolas during the winter months is not viable when some nights there are only one or two customers in there, sometimes none at all. It's a shame really as it is a great place. Let's hope they will sort something out for next year. It is certainly needed in the summer months.

Have a great time there, when we left on 5th November it was 26 degrees! Hope the weather will be good for you too!

Coppola's closed on Sunday 2nd November, we were the last paying customers in there, as we left the place they locked the doors for the last time.

Spikes bar is still open, they will be doing food and obviously serving drinks, and it is being run by the same people. I know there was a rumour going around that Raphael had done a runner, but he hasn't.

If it does open again, it's doubttul it will be during the winter months, as there just aren't enough customers.

We had a long chat with Raphael and he was very disillusioned with the people who own Coppolas, hence he had had enough and decided to move on. He has opened a bar in Balsicas and one in Roldan. We have been to the one in Balsicas (Capital Central) and it is very good.

Hope this will only be a winter closure but not holding our breath!

We are alll entitled to our opinion, and even if we haven't met the person that started all this, we still find his comment in bad taste. He also made comments that were not, how is it you put it 'beyond reasonable doubt' when he stated that he had heard that Raffa had done a runner. He had heard it so it must be true. We found his blackening of the owner's character both unfair and unjust.

Whatever your opinions are, we respect them, we have not at any time told you what to write, we have merely given our opinion. We don't find any of the replies harsh, people were being honest and were quite rightly upset by his very negative comment and his use of bad language. We all have our funny little ways, we are all different, but I suppose for everyone there is a limit. Personally we think he overstepped the mark. That is our opinion and we stated it. Nobody has turned this into a witch hunt, or warlock come to it as Jinyx could be a man, everyone has just stated their opinion on this thread, which is what this site is for. As far as I am aware none of the replies used bad language.

We know where you are coming from with the teaching job, our eldest son is a Mathematics teacher at a large school in Leeds, teaching 11 to 18 year olds, which we both find quite daunting. The work load is immense, and having just got an outstanding for his teaching we are very proud of him, we really don't know how he does it! It is a tough job nowadays and will only get tougher!

Anyway Jayne, tell the man giving you daggers that we appreciate your input, we all have our own opinions and this is the place to put them down. Maybe we will bump into each other, the site is not that big, until you start to walk around it that is.

Wishing you many happy years at Terrazas, that's all any of us really want!

We didn't think that people walking on the golf courses were the reason they died, we just follow the rules. They are the rules and if we all did just what we wanted, where would we be? Same for the swearing, it states on the rules of this site that swearing is not allowed, that's why I don't swear on here! Believe me I can, I was a nurse for many years, and that came with the job!!

We didn't say that Raffa (no commas needed, that's what we call him) was 10 times the person Jinyx was, we were talking about the Golf Pro. We also have a sneaking suspicion we have met Jinyx, but as he doesn't use his real name, we can't be sure, so didn't mention it! So we didn't form that opinion merely from the posting, and having met the Golf Pro, he seems a very nice man who has always been polite and respectful, so no we don't think it is a little big to say he is probably 10 times the person Jinyx is!  We were giving our opinion, the same as everyone else, but perhaps we should have mentioned that we thought we had met Jinyx then there wouldn't be this confusion.

We know there have been a lot of people who have been let down by Polaris World, and personally we are glad they are now out of the picture. We have made friends with a lot of people who bought off plan, and there are some very upsetting stories, which we think are a disgrace. We thankfully never got involved with them as we bought direct from the bank - we had heard enough not to touch them with a barge pole!

We are glad you are enjoying Terrazas, we love it there, even though we were there when they had the floods recently from the Gota Fria, and all we can say is after watching them pull several cars out of the underground garages in La Torre we are glad we didn't buy there (we almost bought an apartment with an underground garage the year before we bought on Terrazas)!

Take care and let's hope that Terrazas will one day be all that we hope for! With tennis courts, shops, bars, restaurants, a driving range, a putting green, a creche, think we best stop there, we are beginning to sound like Polaris World!
