 Are we facing a global slow down.

I have purchased a lovely apartment in Arcos de la Frontera but all I keep reading in the press is slow down and property crash.
I have not managed to get toArcos fora while and I have read some of your great coments about how things are progressing and looking really lovely.

Keep posting the picy`s please!


I am really happy with my purchase and can't wait to visit the town of Arcos again towards the end of the year.

I have also invested in Brazil and am still waiting for the builders license to be granted but it seems that things are even slower over there!

 

Keep them coming please!!!

So far so good is all that I can say at the moment!
I must say that I am thrilled with the valuation I received and am convinced that buying in Arcos de la Frontera was the right move for me after all.
I too like a few other people posting messages looked at other countries to buy in but thought that Arcos was by far the most attractive and safest option and it just seemed to tick all my boxes.
I will let you know when I complete what I think of my appartment but for the price I am paying Im quite sure that it will be lovely.

I would just like to thank all at Eye on Spain as I would not have found my ideal apartment had I not found this site on google.

I purchased my property on Novo Arcos through Sunset Estates and managed to buy an  2 bed apartment on the first phase that Im told is due to complete towards the end of May or early June.

I have been in Spain for a while waiting for the mortgage company to value the property (took a bit longer than I´d hoped for, but hey this is Spain).

I was very pleasently surprised when the value came back more than 24,000€ more than I have payed for the apartment.

I too have used the lawyer recomended by Sunset Estates and am pleased to say that all seems to be going to plan at the moment.

I plan to use the apartment several times a year and  try to rent it out for a few weeks if anybody knows anybody who is looking to rent in the area.
Look forward to meeting some of you in the summer.
