Interesting article on Simply Networking today reiterating that the location for the Paramount park is still awaiting confirmation, and that the recent reports stating that  Alhama ( Condado 2)  is the location is just speculation reported by the La Verdad newspaper and  spread by various other news agencies and forums.

After reading this post I contacted my property Manager .  Aparently the following was emailed out by the community office.

Dear owner:

The Telecommunications Company in charge of TV maintenance in the Resort, inform us of the following:

Next June 22nd The TV Service in HDA will be completely digital in order to improve quality service of our CATV Network and to adapt it to the new TDT Technology. All Satellite TV Channels will be broadcasted in DTT (Digital Terrestial Television)

Also all the analog Spanish TV channels will be turned off.

 

So, It will be necessary to have a TDT decoder to watch all the channels, satellite channels and Spanish channels.

The system quality will be much better than actual system, and it will be possible to add more satellite channels.

 

The HDA Information Channel will also be launched, tuneable on channel 58 in order to send resort news and other information.

Also Spanish TDT channels change their position in the UHF Band due to technical reasons, so it will necessary to tune up all the TV (with internal TDT decoder) and all the external TDT decoders.

 

Although you could find all the information regarding the change to TDT available in channel 58. We provide you the following e-mail address in case it would be necessary to get an additional information.
