If you approach Roda from the F35 (the road that runs from San Javier to Cartegena) entering the estate at the side of the appartments, the red boxes are down that road, the one some people use to cut off the traffic lights.  They start just before the community centre and run down to the perimeter of the estate.  It's the road that crosses all the main streets with the parking bays, Carlos I, Infanta Christina etc.  I couldn't see the name plate when I looked last week, but I'm sure it must have one as your turn into the estate.  You definately won't miss the boxes when you see them.

Have just returned form Roda, and noticed tractor in the field where the orange grove used to be.  They seem to be preparing it for planting, with ridges and irrigation, but no signs as to what will be grown

Have just returned from Roda, unfortunately didn't take any pictures but confirm earlier posting that the red boxes run down both sides of the road behind the community centre, that runs from the F35 to the perimeter of the estate.  They start  at the junction before Carlos I, so I can only presume access to the top of the estate is via the perimeter road.  One point however, we were told that the market would be Friday, and could have started as soon as yesterday, however there were no signs of it before we left.  We too are concerned about rubbish, and the fact that the local newspaper reports of gangs of pickpockets operating at markets in Torrevieja. A market seems to be an essential of every Spanish town, so at least we are being acknowledged as a community. Maybe we can get a bus service now!

Agree that only time will tell.

An update on my previous posting - the shower cubicles in Leroy Merlin are the wrong profile, the angle of the curve is the wrong shape. Does anyone know where we can buy one that will fit? I'm looking at the downstairs cloakroom in the 2 bed townhouse.

Re the shower cubicle in the downstairs cloakroom, the Leroy Merlin store in Cartegena (Mediterranean Place) have a large selection if you can fit them yourselves.  They had a huge sale in January but we had already purchased ours so missed out on the deal.  We are going out in April to fit it, so hopefully it will be OK.
