Hello to all of you, it´s long time without to post info in this forum, but as some of you know, due to maternity ( 2 babies at the same time) I´m very busy. Just to let you know that my apartment is booked for all summer time, with an income for 2 monthes (July and August) similar or higher to the amount that MD offered me for to handle my apartment the 12 monthes, and at this moment, I´m already receiving enquiries for winter time long time rental .
I have received (I´m not lying ) more than 100 enquiries, which I had to decline, so I just have 1 apartment.
I´m doing the business and control the apartment by myself, I decide who and when entry-leave the apartment, etc.
I have a big experience in real estate advertising and maybe that´s why I´m not having troubles, and also I have found the way of to controll everything in the distance ( I live almost 500 km far away from MD).
I know that in summer time it´s for spanish people (and it´s when we really make money), and in winter time it´s for people out of Spain, affordable prices that adding in the end of the year to the spanish rental amount, then really makes a nice montly average. The only thing you need is be VERY fluently with spanish , control a little bit of english (in my case I´m spanish and a speak some english), and of course have big knowlege of real estate advertising.

MD like all the spanish real estate is down at this moment, but the real estate market has cycles (good and bad). Now it´s down, but 3 years ago, was very high. I believe in a maximum of 3 years the prices will increase again and very fast.
I believe MD is a good choice, it´s nice, and it still has a lot of possibilities to improve ( the new airport, golf, new hotels, etc, etc). It just needs a small "push" and time.
Maybe most of you just know MD, but I´m spanish and I know a lot of resorts and urbanizations in Spain, and believe me, all are in the same situations.
Don´t get sad or depressed, your investment is good.
