Despite being willing to complete and having the necessary finance it seems that this Developer is truly not a man to be trusted. We had a date to complete in October 2008 but because of 'strings' he decided to attach to our completion at the 11th hour, the date was cancelled and no new date has been set and we are getting nowhere fast.
So, with regret, it seems that the only avenue left to us is to take legal action against him as he is not a reasonable or rational man and it is impossible to deal with him in a business like manner because he doesn't know what that is.
I know there are many buyers out there who may be in a similar position. If you are considering taking the legal path, perhaps we could pursue a joint claim if our aims are the same. There is strength in numbers and of course, it would hopefully save on legal costs.
He will fight us of course - we will not be the first that have taken him to court but others have won and there is no reason why we shouldn't win our case.
