We were also surprised at the lack of cupboards in the bathrooms, as we seem to remember the show apartment was well appointed. As there was a time lapse of almost three years from signing for the apartment and completion it is difficult to remember the exact finish, although we were expecting a breakfast bar in the kitchen, too, as well as the kitchen wall cupboards!  The apartments were described as 'luxury standard', but perhaps Spanish 'luxury standard' is different than the English equivalent?

We have an apratment in Block 6, and the list of 'hidden' charges seems to be growing! We were not aware that there would be a monthly charge for the alarm system, and are really not happy about this.

Also, our electricity charges seem to be a bit high, considering that we've not been able to use to apartment much to date. Any comments?

We completed on our apartment at the end of March this year. We were also expecting to have wall units  fitted in the kitchen  but at time of signing were quoted 4,000 Euros, but as we'd just sunk all our money into buying the apartment this was not an option. I've only just read the comments on this subject . Have you any idea of possible costs involved in tackling the builders 'en masse'? Are any other owners interested in doing so?

Hi,

Our appartment is in block 6, overlooking the 'heated' pool, and chosen for that specific reason. We were there at the beginning of October and the water was far too cold to swim. We saw quite a few people obviously dressed to swim, try the water and then walk away. I was particularly looking forward to at least one daily dip, but took my swimwear home unused. Who decides about heating the pool? Is it up to the owners?

Another problem was we were given just a couple of days notice about the first owners meeting, which was too late for us to take part, and we've never received a copy of any minutes so have no idea what items were discussed.  A few days ago we had notice of the next meeting, but as we're both working people it's not sufficient notice to take leave from work, even if we did have any of our annual allowance left. We don't know any other owners, so can't nominate anyone to vote in our absence.
