hello everyone,

Not sure if anyone still checs this forum as this case is so old now and hopefully most people have got their money back!

Despite it being August 2015, I still haven't received my interest and legal costs back.

the last email I got from Lexland was May 2014 and since then they have not responded to my mails.

Can anyone confirm if they have had updates from Lexland in the last year I.e email contact or even any money!

if not, please can you pass on details of any other lawyers who have been successful in getting back interest/costs.

many thanks

I am also still waiting for the return of my costs and interest payments.

Sadly I can’t add anything as my only information/updates are the emails from Lexland mentioned below.

I still check this forum for any news and appreicate the updates it provides.

Thanks for everyones comments.

Hi,

I would also be interested in meeting up to chat about the development but like Sue I live in the south so I wont be able to get up to Newcastle.

If there is enough demand we could have a meeting down here as well?

Regards

Message for ringy.

Not that I wish to put a downer on your upbeat outlook but the question you need to ask is...."since the prices have 'gone up' how many properties have been sold?" I suspect that the answer is zero. Just because VR have put the asking price up doesn't mean they are worth more.

If people are buying at these higher prices; happy days...we have all made money.

However I suspect that the reality is no one is buying and so no one knows the real value of the properties. When buyers come back into the market, i.e. after the recession/credit crunch is over, we will then know where we stand.  At that point in time, the estate should be finished and people will be able to compare similar estates for quality, facilities, location etc and decide where they want to buy and at what price.

Also If I’m not mistaken the 70% sold figure you have been given in the same one they have been quoting for the last 12 months.

This thread seems to have gone cold. Is that because everyone has gone on holiday or simply because there is no new news? (No news is good news?!) Has anybody visited the site recently?
