Another place to try for Furniture in Arcos is Radio Hogar which is on the ring road, go up past the football ground and turn right at the third island it is sign posted. We completed in Novo Arcos just over 3 years ago and bought most of our furniture there, very reasonable (But the pound was a lot stronger then) and they delivered free of charge when they said they would. If you need electrical item Carrefour and also the electrical shop next to Voy Voy restaurant just before the turning for Radio Hogar. Good luck I hope you end up loving Arcos as much as we do and hopefully see you around.

We were in Arcos from the 7th to the 14th November and saw Mo a couple of times once on the site and once in town on his scotter so he is still about.

Hi Helen

We Signed for our Front row Town house last August and have been Very pleased with it, having used it regularly since (We fly back out tomorrow for another week). The only 2 things that we were told by Sunset that hasn't happened were we were suposed to have a garden at the back which we havn't and were also told we would  have use of the pool which is not looking very likely, But this is nothing compared with what alot of people are going through. Saying that we kept our distance from Sunset after signing the first contract as our solisiter had said that he didn't agree with thing they were doing.
If we can help anybody with any advise please Email us, as it is such a shame Sunset has done this to so many people they will not enjoy there new homes in Arcos and it is a beautiful Place.

We bought in the second phase of Town houses and Banca March guantreed our phase.If you have any doubts about this email them, we have a mortgage with them and have found the team in the Arcos branch very helpful and they also speak english.

When we completed last August we didnt pay Sunset any money this must have come from the original 30%

With regard to the Kitchen Air con etc see Judy's Email below she did a fab job for us and very trustworthy,as I can imagine alot of people are very weary of who they now trust.

I was interested to read your post with regards to the community meeting as I have only just heard about this sight, We signed last year and have been out a few times now but knew nothing about this meeting.Did you attend or do you know what was said as we own a Town house and have heard rumours that we are unable to use the pools which Suprise Suprise we were told by Sunset Estates we could.
