Hello All, News from the front!! The meeting between Bert, the builder & Victor (our friends solicitor) has taken place, and below is his initial comments from the meeting.

Last Monday I had a meeting with representatives of Creivsa in order to get a solution to the case.
 
The main problem is that Crevisa has no money and they can not realize the outstanding task requested by the Town Hall. In order to regularize the situation we will do the following:
 
1º) Create a community of owners of purchasers in Pozo del Esparto. The land will be place under this community (or even better, if we get the segregation licenses under your particular names).
2º) With the constitution of the community of owners each client will pay some money of the outstanding balance to pay (it will be taken into account the amount already paid) and this money will be controlled by the community of owners (I will be one of the administrators, so no money can be paid without my authorization).
3º) We will finish the tasks requested by Cuevas council and once we have the licenses, the property will be distributed to each owner.
4º) In order to constitute the community of owners Crevisa is passing to me the list of all purchasers and money paid so I can contact them and move this forward (still waiting the list) and I am preparing special PoA and a breakdown of figures to be sent to you so you can sign at UK.
 
My agent thinks this is a good way forward, as these communities have a very strong legal position in Spanish law, and things happen faster aparently!!!
 
As I find out more I will add it to this thread.

Hi, Just got your message. I am part of a small group that has access to their houses at Pozo and we exchange any information we have. As the situation is comming to a head I thought I would join this community to spead the word, as we may have to contribute to get the road finished etc. I own (sort of) Plot 25 and visit 2 or 3 times a year. As soon as I get any further information I will post it on this community. I will be in Spain sometime in June, not yet decided, and from the 8th October until the 14th. Pozo is a fantastic location with unrivaled property, so hang in there and hope to see you soon.

Hello All, There is a meeting today between the builder, the developer (Bert) & some solicitors to discuss the way forward. Basically, all of the planning permissions are in place, and it is a matter of getting each individual property registered. The builder is short of cash, and NOT bankrupt as the rumours stated. One of the thought is that the people still owing money to the bulder (me) could send a certain amount each which will cover the cost's of the roads & lighting etc. This would obviously be knocked off of the final payment for the property. Then with the infrascructure in place Cuavas can get onwith registering all of the property.When I know more I will let everybody know.
