I am starting to wonder why I pay 30 euro's per mth to securitas as it is,so if they are not going to be visible I will probably stop this payment.

Also disapointed that they stop the contract and then tell you about it,seems a crazy way round particularly when you know there have been plenty of break ins over the last 3 yrs.

With this and the poor management of the company(people still being allowed to move in when they haven't got the gas up and running etc...),it amazes me they can sell properties,all my friends know what we went through over 3 years and it certainly hasn't helped them sell in my eyes.

As a regional manager myself,I met with Jean and his team 18 mths ago after our experience and said why don't they have a simple check list.....gas/water/electric/property finish/tiles all good/gardens finished/outside lights/pool/walling complete/railings etc......and they still haven't listened !!

Sorry to rant on.

I would be very surprised if the Spanish Open is held on a building site next year when the hotel isn't finished yet.

I have also heard the rumours a few times and I don't buy it(anyone want to shoot me down in flames please lol),I don't think its good enough and I would have thought that it would have been much better looked after to date if there was a chance.............Some of the greens are very poor in places,so is the rough,also not sure its long enough for the big hitters - would love it if it was though.

We have been in our place about 15 mths now,the charge was in our contract as 1087 euro's and when it came time to pay 3yrs on had risen to 1500 and it stipulates in the contracts that the value is an estimate - still almost a 40% increase does seem to be taking the micky.

Best place we have found is in San Miguel and called Market street,5 of us all had different meals and all without exception were excellent.

I had lamb shoulder and it was the width of the plate almost and very nice.

I also like Chez in Villamartin for Argentine beef steaks,run by the sons owner called Martin and he's a nice guy,lots of english staff who all work hard to please.

Charlotte in benijuzar is good lunchtimes and lots of locals eat there,they give you king prawns free at the start if you have menu of the day.

Rebate restaurant in Rebate is good in the summer - you can sit outside and watch the ostriches.

The clock in San Pedro del pinatar is elegant and reminds you of fine dining,very reasonable as well.
