The LFO has been issued for Manilva Beach (at least for Blocks 7 & 8) and our independent spanish solicitor recommended by a friend who has purchased in Spain before has signed on our behalf through Power of Atorney.  I would always recommend caution and of course seek legal advice but whilst we are all fed up with the way this development has been handled let's not panic and become doom laden.  Has anyone actually seen the inside of the apartments and do they appear to match the specification given on the contract?

I agree with Alltoomuch.  Those who can complete need to do so to prevent further delays (as we did last week).  We can then form an action group to look at what went wrong, who shouild have prevented it going wrong and who we might have a case aainst

Just found this forum

We have just completed on Block 7 and have no doubt experienced the same problems as everyone else.  We had sent a deposit for the furniture but want nothing to do with OVP or the sister travel company.  Has anyone any experience at trying to get their deposit for furniture back?

We did use a Spanish solicitor recommended by a friend and did not use the OVP recommended one in order to get totally unbiased advice.  We had the amateurish pantomime of a local representative of OVP running round with a certified cheque to the Notary's when our solcitor signed on our behalf as OVP had not sent all the monies to Jetoil as the developers.  OVP had the cheek to suggest it was our fault that final signature was delayed as we had not informed them of he date for final signature.

Anyone any idea when the co-ownership company will be formed and hold the first AGM
