Can you please contact me re your troubles with HIFX. My husband is presently having serious problems with them. They are refusing to acknowledge our complaints and have been extremely aggressive in their dealings. They are demanding a payment we do not owe and enforcing court action.
I have found evidence that this is happening to other people but because they are such a large firm they can pressurise people individually into paying up. It is about time they were exposed but it is difficult to do this as a one off. It might be helpful if we were in contact with each other.
There is an article on the internet by another client
whereby HIFX charged a client for selling back to the market.
It is a very similar experience to ours and we have no proof of purchase or sale. I believe they must make a lot of money through such dealings as well as the type of deal they did with you.
