 We have been asked to complete on block 26, on 21st Nov and 12 Dec but they have not been ready.

I went to view the appartment in November and there was a large list of snagging. I still don't know if it has been done!

No real effort apears to be made to complete efficiently but be carefull before refusing to accept handover and read the conditions of your contract.

I have not yet completed on my apartment in block 26 but was originally asked to do so on 21st November. The latest date is 12th Dec but I am not confident that they will be anything like ready.

I understand from my solicitor that we can legally hold completion on the basis of significant outstanding works or defects but not for issues of more minor snagging. I have been advised that failure to complete can mean that the developer can cancel the contract and keep all payment to date! I will be endeavouring to hold completion until I am satisfied and will keep you posted.

I do have a copy of the contract which my solicitor translated to english if anybody wants a copy.

We are in spain from 20th to 23rd Dec  but probably not in our apartment as there is no real way of knowing when it might be properly finished

Have you recently been asked to complete on your apartment in block 26?  If so are you happy with the current state and are you intending to complete soon.

I can see exactly the same thing happening to us on block 26. When are you due to complete and what sort of items were outstanding? were they just snaggs or were they items which were incomplete affecting reasonable occupation.
