We have just been informed by our legal representatives that "Labaro Grupo Inmobiliario S.A.” (the developer of Jockey Villas) has filed for insolvency and bankruptcy. We do not yet know what the true impact is to buyers and would encourage you to investigate with your own legal teams as a matter of urgency.

As soon as we find out any more news we will share on this site.

If anyone has already heard this news, it will be great to hear from you and any helpful information you may have.

We have loaded up some newer photos of the development. These are about 2 months old but give an idea of the show house prior to decoration. Hope to see some more recent photos soon if anyone goes out to see the showhome this month.

On another note, speaking with various rental companies based in La Cala, they believe that long term rental is the only real option for these properties until the area matures. Makes sense as holiday makers will not want to be in an area that still has a fair bit of development going on.

Year two (post development) could be opened to the more profitable holiday market.
