My Spanish Solicitor has been in touch today and told me that the builders.... "have just contact us to say the property is ready to be delivered and if you are still interested in the completion. They are planning to give all the properties back to the bank as they can not afford the payments of the mortgage, so we need to move quickly"

She thinks it's a case of complete or say goodbye to our deposits, which comes as no real shock.
