This is a sorry mess,and I really feel for everyone who has lost their well earned savings. We bought on ACC and put down 48k Euros but give up in 2007 and transferred to MCC and have enjoyed every holiday since. However we purchased a property from Huma  for 127k Euros using the ACC deposit but today our property is only worth 80K if we are lucky.

So like many of you we are indirectly out of pocket, but trying to put a positive view on this situation you are in the pound (Euro) seats if you are still looking for a property. I wish I was in a position to purchase on MCC today with so many bargains.

I hope you all get a satisfactory outcome in the near future-

Hi Isabella,

we moved from ACC to MCC back in 2007, and have never looked back. The developement is in the control of the Community of Owners. Free from Huma. You will need a car living here unless you want to spend your money on taxi fares. The area it self is well served with motorways to Alicante airport, San Javier airport and to the south towards Almeria. New High speed train between Almeria to Alicante  in construction, new airport at Covera (30 mins drive) to open this year and hopefully the new Paramount theme park to start construction this year.

we might be in a world resession but there seems to be a lot of investment going into the Murcia region.

Folks,don't feel sorry for me and others who transferred from ACC to MCC, I made my choice and assessed the risks and frankly very happy with my choice. I don't have the powers of hindsight, who saw this world recession coming. The property market in Spain & the UK is going to take a long time to recover. The value of my UK property has gone down and so has my spanish home, thats life - the property good times are over for now. However if one can put Huma to one side a PRIVATE property purchase at MCC ( or the Murcia area for that fact) represents good value for money at the moment. I say at the moment, these very low priced bargains will not be around to long in my opionion.... we have .....a new excellent motorway infrastructure in the area, two airports; Alicante & San Javier and very soon Corvera airport, Paramount theme park to start building at the end of the year and as for MCC the Community of Owners are in control led by a team of excellent residents.

I hope you all succeed, especially getting justice from Huma but there only seems one winner here...the lawyers

Friends of ours on the Country Club had them installed, one in each bedroom, one in the shower room and two in the lounge.  They are pleased with them as background heat  and do take the chill off the room on cold winter nights and of course they are low cost to use.
