I'm for getting someone to speak for us as a whole. I think we have two models from which to choose:

1)  Someone to 'informally' represent us, i.e a Property expert or Professional Snagger, but who is empowered to say, what is acceptable to us and what isn't, as far as time delay and specifation changes.

2)  The second model is to employ a 'solicitor' and go the legal route.

Either way I and my collegue Keith would support such action, and perhaps slightly favour option 1.

Hi, I don't have anybody in mind. I think first I'd like to see what everybody else thinks, because it would work unless the majority of the British buyers bought into the idea. My thoughts are if 50 or so apartments agreed, the costs would be very small to employ a Spanish based 'British' solicitor/firm to represent us and put pressure on Grupo Urbasa.

I don't think 'Watchdog' or just moaning about it is going to do it for us. We have to be proactive and unified! God I sound like an old Trade Unionist!

Hi, this is my first time on this forum, but I have been watching the conversations with interest. Myself and my wife, Pam and our friends Keith & Sue, are buying a flat in Amarion III, and up to now have just accepted the delays - as the Spanish way.

But what has worried us more recently is the lack of or false information, broken promises and conflicting information from Palmera and Grupo Urbasa. We are not sure either what the significance is of a Director of Palmera becoming a Director of Grupo Urbasa.

So what do you guys yhink of getting together to employ an official spokeperson for us all, who could deal with Grupo Urbasa and Palmera on a more formal basis, and who we know will have OUR interests at heart.

Other benefits could be to add weight when or if we all seek compensation and also to cordinate/manage a 'Professional Snagger'
