We received a letter from Carmen on 16th Sep stating that an appointment had been made with Notary for us to complete on our property on 22nd Oct.  I had some questions for Carmen one of which was to ask for a copy of the Certificate of Habitation as given Calidona record to date I did not want to arrange travel and then find that we could not complete.

Carmen eventually responded to my email today with a copy of Licencia De 1a Ocupacion which is dated 1st Oct. Due to work commitments and upcoming medical appointments ideally I would like to delay completion until the New Year.

Could someone please let me know what legal position is on this? I'm sure that I read somewhere that you had 3 months. If that is the case would it be 3 months from 1st Oct or today when I received certificate?

Appreciate your help.

Hi

We are due to complete on a Magnolia later this year and as such unfortunately need to sort out a mortgage. Just wondered if those of you that have completed or are about to complete have found a better deal than the Developers Mortgage?

Ideally looking for interest only for first couple of years in hope that exchange rate improves.
