weve just discovered this site and thought you would like to know our findings from our latest visit this week ( 19th September to be exact!)

We were advised at the site office that it is likely that Lar Sol may be moving onto Phase 3 , skipping phase 2 of the development .Apparently they are making this decision now . Its not clear if this is a commercial decision or an engineering one but either way we are very concerned about the impact this will have on rentability , saleability and not to mention the noise and dust we will experience over a prolonged period of time . Apparently  they may not even go ahead with phase 2 at all (until they have the funds ).

The impact is that we can expect either an unfinished site with the possibility of disruption at some point in the future rather than the preferred immediate roll on which would be painful but short -lived. This will also make renting difficult as there will be no protection from dust and noise from phase 3 .

We have written to Lar sol to voice our concerns and it may help if others do too - you never know - if they believe that we could all use our get out clause in April they may change their minds!

We will let you know of anything we hear - perhaps you could too!
