Hi

Sorry to add to the confusion- but by chance we were in the main office in September and only by chance did we see new layouts and realised that the original phase 2 (we are in block 84) is now phase 7.  It is very difficult to get any straight answers from PW.  With the state of the exchange rate at present I for one am relieved that we will not be required to pay for our apartment in mid 2008 as was originally stated.  We are expecting end of 2009 at the earliest.  I hope the exchange rate has improved by then.

We've kind of resolved to having to wait until 2009, possibly middle of, for our apartment on Faze 2. 

Have you read the posts on the Almanzora Country Club message board, especially the one about the Torre Pacheo council etc ?

WHAT is that all about ??

Do we think that the building permission not being granted has anything to do with this?

Any news, updates, comments, reassuring words to make us feel better?

Hi

Spoke with a gentleman from PW customer service yesterday who was responding to an email I had sent him.  He told me that they expect to be handing over properties in TDLT end of 2008 but more likely beginning of 2009.  Ground clearing had started and cranes are on site.  Just have to be patient I guess.

Good to hear that they may finally start building at Terrazas!  I think the comments about the look of the apartments is a personal thing.  I thought the United Golf resort at La Tercia was really ugly but they are selling very well.  I agree the back of Terrazas is not very attractive but I really like the design of the terraces.  We have bought one with a double size terrace half of which is covered.  Personally I am still really pleased that we have bought on this site.  It will have a very attractive open aspect unlike some of the other resorts.  The close proximity of La Torre is another bonus.  I feel that once construction is under way the apartments will start selling faster.  Not many people are keen to buy off plan let alone buy something where they haven't cleared the ground yet.  I wish we could afford to buy another one!
