Thank you. Yes, I suspect that is what it is, as initially we had a lot of power outages, and someone at HDA called the electricity company for us to try to solve that. I suspect this was the result!

Hi,
We bought an apartment at Oasis back in July and have visited in every school holiday since. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice regarding electricity. We were originally told that the cost of the electricity would be reasonable compared to U.K. However, despite only being in the property for a maximum of 7 days, our electricity bill seems very high. It has been about €64 when we have not been there at all. And when we were there for 4 days over Christmas, the bill was double for December. When we are not there, we leave the fridge on only. Does anyone know if this seems right in comparison to what you pay??

Hi Sandra,
We are Malasia 2!!
You never know, it might all move quicker at this time of year!! We didn't get a furniture pack, we got everything from IKEA Murcia and Leroy Merlins, down the road in Cartegena. There is a big home shopping area there, including Carrefour,electronic shops, etc.
Lots of people do go for packs, but I don't know much about them!

Hi Sandra,
Have you actually completed yet? Our completion day was moved back several times. Everyone said that was because it was August, and everything takes ages in August. From official completion to electricity connected, it was about 5 days.
What did take a while was hot water. Our solar panels (they heat the water) weren't connected in our block. Apparently, some are, some are not. You might want to find out about yours because that took about 3 weeks.
