Isn't it funny that we could not get in touch with the delveopers for years - and now that we are NOT going ahead with the remaining amount and completion they have email us?  we have NOT emailed back and do not intend to - we emailed the bank (the one that the developers advised us to use) who wouldn't at the last minute lend us the rest of the full amount to buy Monte anyway.  We were truthfully honest about our financial situation here - we can't afford to carry on with the purchase because of this credit crunch etc...   We today received an email from the bank who have advised us NOT to part with anymore money as it looks very probable that the developers are going under if anyone wants to see this email please email back and I will forward it to you, the bank,actually told us that the developers situation is DRAMATIC..   I suspect JANE that when you saw the two of them together they were talking receivership - and to of duped you on that day is just terrible.  

A very expensive mistake to lose our deposit but I'd much rather do that then throw good money after bad - GOOD LUCK

Dear Forest we are too having problems and yes we are worried that if there is problems with the apartment - who is going to resolve these now Damien has gone?  Also we have constantly been trying to contact the developers for the last three years with NO reply etc... so can you see them replying to us in the future if we have a serious building defect/that needs putting right, I think NOT a very BIG worry our apartment is C004.   They are threatening us that by tomorrow they are going to 'Resolve' our contract? our number is 07710 115414 if you want to give us a call Lisa and Joe

Hi Lisa Marie here! well what a shock to read about Damein I called him to say thank you for his honesty.

We have not been able to get out to Spain this year but have friends that live over there, they have informed us that the site looks fantastic (phew!).  The bank are keen to get the remainder of our money but of course we have been very cautious and have asked all the relevant questions, especially after hearing about another few characters of importance being arrested.  Our Solicitor informs us that the developers are getting impatient and, if we do not send the remaining money they are going to 'resolve' our contract WOT a cheek considering we have waited nearly TWO years over the completion date and in that  time of buying off-plan to now we have NEVER had any feed back from the developers.  Funny isn't it when money is involved? 

Is any one going to use the numbers kindly supplied by Damein?  We know we are! -  please may I ask Forest, 'what is your position at the moment? are you going to court and if you don't mind me asking why?  If this is too personal I am sorry and don't answer me!   We are aware that there are families living on site so this is a relief.  Also has any one done their snagging list yet - any interesting findings?

Well we hope that this all blows over and that the other apartments get sold - phase 2 is completed and that we can all live happily ever after over a few Sangrias TOGETHER!!!!  

Joe and I hope that we get to meet you all soon - we have two children a girl of 13 and a boy of 11, any future budding friendships on the horizon???

Can anyone tell me why we haven't heard anything regarding our apartment which was meant to of been completed a YEAR ago!  I actually went and viewed my apartment again with Damien in April 2007 in which I was told it would be completed within the next 6 weeks - well that was 7 MONTHS ago and I can't believe we haven't heard a word - it would be nice just to be informed of what was going on - what the hold up is etc.. not even the developers could be bothered to get in touch - bet they do pretty quick when they want our money though eh?!!!

Hi Lisa Marie here again - has anyone been told of the completion date for Monte?  We were under the impression that it was to be completed Dec 2006 - Jan 2007.  Actually to be honest I did read somewhere that it is now Spring - So WHY hasn't our solicitors been in touch to inform us of this? 

I haven't been to Spain for nearly a year and intend going for the first 2 weeks in April this year with my family- has anyone had a recent look?  and is anyone going out in this Easter - maybe we could meet up we might be neighbours?
