Hi Guys,

My partner and I made a brief visit to the site last week just to see what was going on for ourselves, sadly not a lot !  We had expected to be moving into our casa earlier this year and it was very sad to see it  finished and empty,  the houses looked stunning standing there glistening in the glorious summer sunshine,  lonely and abandoned.

There appears to be someone living in one of the smaller houses and there is currently a security office at the entrance, whilst we were there a van load of chappies arrived and from what we could make out they are expecting to commence working again soon but from what we could understand it will be with a new employer, not sure if they meant  a new construction company or a new developer !

At this time I would just like to add my support to the F.V. guys who have made a sterling effort over the past year or so, the disgusting vile unnecessary remarks aimed at them were in my view totally uncalled for and out of order,  I'm surprised that they have not been edited as they clearly breech the terms and conditions of rules of this site.

Hi Jordy,

Yes I do have time to sit behind a computer today, enjoying a bank holiday break, which makes a bit of a change for me actually to my normal run of the mill working day.

Why oh why does this forum always have to turn into negative mud slinging match ?  This really is becoming extreme , very boring and unneccesary.  I most sincerely appologise to all of those I accused of not being able to spell and write, (sadly there seems to be a fair few though), blame it on the standard of poor education in this country, to many spell checkers and calulators makes ones brain unable to work for itself.  Im ashamed to have fallen into the trap and lower my own standards of common decent behaviour to my fellow mankind/womankind.

My name is Alexander  Calil  hence  Lilac which is my nickname,  ( some say due to the strange tinge in my skin at sundown ) you can by all means call me a black kettle if you wish,  I have been subjected to far worse believe me !  My charming partner is Rufus.

I am a genuine purchaser and intend to complete on a Lorena property on the first phase, having opted to move and take the bank offer. Construction of the property/plot that suits us is finsihed and we are hoping to do the legal requirements sooner rather than later !   I am of mixed race, originate from the west midlands area,  not a religious fanatic,   I'm gay,  love my partner and proud of it !  Thankfully I am self employed and choose when and where I work, although with the current environment I do have to be more competitive !  My partner and I intend to eventually retire to Spain, where although corruption is rife ( as in the UK ) and one sunny weekend doth not make a summer, the laid back outdoor life style, fishing, great sporting events, concerts etc etc etc meet with our criteria of what life should be about.   Life is for living not bitching !

Anyone else ready to come out,  to coin an expression !

Alexander Calil and Rufus Dobson

Hi Jordy,  the work on the site as far as I understood was not suspended because of the building licence issue, but due to the ongoing delay with the issue of the habitation certificate !  Everyone is already aware about the motion to try and revoke the building licenses back in November, but WHY did the judge see NO reason to STOP works at that time ?

There is a much broader picture here that everyone chooses to put to the back of their minds !  I also met with Ricman in a village bar ( they seem to be very well received by the local people ) We managed to have a conversation with a couple of local business owners that are affected by the situation, the bars are now empty where as before they were making good business with the workers and brits visiting the site, self employed companies which have been working on the site for a number of years have now had to lay workers off until the issue is sorted now resulting in some living on the poverty line !  It was very obvious that 90% of the locals are very angry with the politics involved in this, the other 10% mainly over the age of 80 would rather the world stay the same, but that is a normal attitude with the older generation where ever you go !

Its very obvious, ( by the same spelling mistakes and poor writing ) that a few of the posters on here are one of the same using various alias !  Therefore it is very difficult to take anyone serious anymore.

The only suggestion I would make to those of you that are serious about your investment , Go and look and judge for yourselves, its very easy to sit behind a computer and be critical.

Good Morning,  myself and my partner have just returned from Spain after a very stormy flight last night. Didnt see any evidence of an earth quake but we did have numerous violent thunder bolts which were a bit un-nerving !

We had a site visit on Friday with the work director who explained what the current situation is and why the builder had stopped work.  The story was the same, until the primary certicate for habitation has been issued the works are suspended.  Everything is dependant on the power line being removed, according to the green activists there is a danger to wild life, this seems an absured argument as the power lines were in place years before the start of the building. This seems to be a political rangle between the governing party and the opposition, which ironically were the party that approved the project orginally when they were in power according to Snr Eamon!   A new project as requested by the greenies has been submitted by the electric company to the planning department and this should finally put an end to this delaying tatic by the green party. The gas system and the new water main is already completed and ready to be connected to the houses so this is not an issue at all.

I bought up the question of the building licenses being revoked for the first houses, we were assured by Snr Emon this is not the case, in his words "at no time during the contruction of the site has there every been a stop put on works, if the works were illegal the guardia and local government would have put the works into suspension."  I did mention that various sources had indicated that this information had come directly from the town hall officials, when he asked me for information of the town hall official that had given these details unfortunately we could only say this had come from a third party !  If anyone actually has the details of the informer perhaps you could forward it to the developer on their info email address so they can investigate the matter further, they are very keen to hear the source of the information.

Also mentioned was the action that some of the clients wanted to take which involves using the euro rep David Milliband, the answer we received was  " The developer and financier of the project would vey much welcome a vist from Mr Milliband, they would appreciate the opportunity to introduce him to the project, have no problem what so ever proving that huge investment has already been made by the promotor and bank which is in the excess of over fifty million euros compared to the very small sum invested by the clients.

Having had a good look for ourselves it is very evident that in deed a large investment has been made by the developer and bank, not only on the first two phases which has completed sections and many more properties in a very advanced stage of construction, but also the advanced stage of the infrastructure of the entire site was pointed out and explained to me.

Whilst on site two couples arrived who are waiting to move into their properties, they are totally frustrated with the situation and also have the added burden of having to rent property nearby, but they were all still committed to moving into their new properties a.s.a.p.

After catching up with previous posts, I didnt see any evidence which would lead me to believe that the developer was in administration, if anything I would say that they are also very frustrated with current situation. The bank also seems to have relaxed a little bit since last year and now offering some good deals to try and help with the economic situation. Looking at the information on the Debs posting, as far as my partner is aware this is a normal situation when a project gets into an advanced stage, the debt normally will start to decrease as and when the properties are paid for by the ownwers/ purchaser. Obvious really !!

Lets hope for everyones sake that all this political nonsence is sorted sooner rather than later, or at least before the Spanish politicians take further lessons from our own corrupt politicians, or maybe Mr Milliband would like to sell a couple of the houses to some of his chums as second, third, or even forth homes !!!

Hi Blue and Toddie,  love the posting's, made me smile,  it certainly sums up the feelings of most of our fellow purchasers, I have received a number of private mails from those that have now seen this forum for what it sadly has turned into. We have also received a nod and wink for next week, watch this space. Also did a bit of jcb breaking dancing on the drive of  604,   no problem, but had a bit of difficulty getting it down the steps of the pool though,  still practise makes perfect as they say.
