We have not been back to our apartment since the beginning of October and are wondering if the satellite reception for the TV has been lost yet?  We were informed that this would be the case from Mid October onwards.  We are due back out in early Feb and wondered if we needed to make arrangements for the internet prior to our return?

We used the main pool at the bottom and the pool behind block 19 where we have our apartment.  We also used the pool at the top near to the security office.  We ate out a couple of times in the Marina and drank in the bars on a couple of nights but mainly stayed around the village and ate on our balcony.

We're not sure if it was the pools it's just with the doctor asking us about swimming that alerted us.  I've read up on it and the bug is apparently mainly water or feaces born!. Doctor says he sees it regularly in the summer when people have been on holiday and in swimming pools a lot.  He says a common problem is swimming pools not being cleaned on a daily basis.

It's hard to pin point where we contracted this bug though : (

We've been to Duquesa six times this year so far and not had a problem until now.  It hasn't put me off using the pools but it has my husband as he has been sooo poorly since returning home last week.

Can anybody advise how often the swimming pools are cleaned please?  My husband has got cryptosporidium and doctor asked if we had been swimming.  We have just spent a week in our apartment in Duquesa village and spent a lot of time in 3 of the pools?!!  He fell ill as we landed in England.  Doctor says if pools are not regularly cleaned this could have been the cause.  I have been confirmed as also having the bug but not been so badly affected as my husband!!
