Hi,

Whilst not confessing to be an expert in Spanish, my understanding from the minutes of the last community meeting is that there appears to have been a problem or fault with the "beam" structures over the upper carpark area.

If I have translated the bit correctly I think it was decided at the meeting that as the beams were not covered by any guarantee and also served no structural purpose it might be better and cheaper to remove them rather than try to repair or replace them.

When it was suggested that a quote be obtained to remove them some one at the meeting offered to remove them free of charge. The attendees at the meeting voted to support this.

hi,

We have always found our solicitor very helpful. We have been told independenty that its an old established family company and we have only ever heard good about them.

M J Asesores have their Aquilas office opposite the fishing port

They may not be the cheapest around but we feel comfortable with them handling our affairs.

Juan studied law in Manchester and speaks good english (albeit with a Manchester accent !)

I know he has helped other recover moneys from purchases which didn't work out as they should.

The important thing we found is that he does what he says and always keeps in contact.

We are happy for you to say the Eatons  recommemded him!

Hi Tony,

Note quite completed but hopefully the end is in sight. We have been told the apartment is ready and we could take occupation in February 2007 but without the habitation certificate. I think this is because there is still some building work to be completed in the communal area to the front of our apartment and the Town Hall want to make sure its finished before issuing the certificate.

 If we want to wait for the habitation certificate then it looks like it will be April 2007. Our Solicitor is recommending we wait.

We have recently been sent some photos of the inside and I must say it is looking really good and is going to be worth waiting for.
