Hi, We too bought in Santa Maria off plan and had exactly the same issues. We were certainly not prepared to buy without the correct habitational licences in place.We even had the developer threatening us with extra costs for not completing.We too have lost a lot of money. We won the first appeal and then the developper won the 2nd and we don't know where to go next. Is it worth us all getting together and hiring one lawyer on all our behalves?
It sounds like Greg did better than we did even though we have the same lawyers! We also used Martinez-Echevarria Perez & Ferrero. Juan Espejo was our lawyer. Plus Mr. Arturo Pérez González was involved at one point. We'd also love to hear from anyone else involved in Santa Maria. We have not ben back there for 3 or 4 years now.
