Hi there Chingston, I too am looking for a place to rent for the long term.  I don't even know what their long term means on EyeonSpain? Anything over a month?  Six months?? Anyway, I did want to ask how you went in the end and what worked for you?  I'm hoping to cut out some of the hard/dead end work by asking someone who's just been doing what I am about to do.  Hoping you can help.
