We also use HIFX and have no hesitation in recommending them.

We had the same problem. There is a blind shop in Los-Alcazares that does awnings etc, but they do not speak a

lot of English, so I hope your Spanish is good. They wanted about 80 euros a chair. My husband took our chairs

to pieces and you can slide the material out. I ordered some new material online in uk its an acrylic canvas

and made them up myself, cost me about £50. for 2 bed, that was only the flat part nothing wrong with back.

Solmar at San Javier Airport don't charge for petrol you just give it back the same as you got it.

I believe there is a boat that goes from Los Alcazares to La Manga, there is a notice board at the sailing club on the beach. If you go past the Hotel Costa Narejos down to the beach, turn left and it is about 100 yards along there. I believe they only go twice a day though, the times are up on the notice board. This would save you having to go into Santiago.

I haven,t actually tried this, but T-Mobile do a dongle and you can add european coverage on it for set amounts. You can get information on their web site regarding how many minutes you get. Of all our english networks for mobile phones I found that t-mobile gets the best reception at Roda, we are also on phase 2 penthouse apt. Hope this is of some help to you.
