Based on my own experience, with a private antenna you can connect several devices to the Internet at the same time. There is no limit on data usage and you buy your data package by days, weeks or months.

if you buy data via Y- Internet website you can only connect one device to the Internet at a time. I think a private antenna also gives better signal strength -  I often have 100% signal strength displayed on my devices.

Is this the WiFiConnect linked to Y-Internet who is the preferred community provider?

I only use Y-Internet (office is in Calahonda) and have done so for several years. Their service is very good  - I e-mailed them my requirements, pay via Paypal and the connection is there when I arrive at my apartment.

Try using Y-Internet and check them out for yourself.

In addition to the stolen motor bike, apparently there have been other incidents of attempted break-ins into apartments, lockers annd property having been stolen.

There is now a call from some quarters for CCTV to be installed in phase 1 of Don Juan. While the cost of the equipment is a concern, I wonder if a CCTV system would be of any real value.

I cannot either imagine or believe that the Spanish Police will take the time to identfy any culprits caught on CCTV and then to locate and apprehend these criminals. A CCTV system is not going to be a deterrent for die-hard criminals and opportunistic burglars are unlikley to be put off if they kbow that they are safe from being arrested.

These incidents of thefts and break-ins are sad and disturbing developments in our community. We need to ensure that our properties are as secure as we can make them - we have to be vigilant and look out more for each other and develop a stronger community spirit as CCTV is unlikely to be the answer.

I have registered on-line on 29 January but still have not received the e-mail to activate my account.

Re-send my request for the e-mail to activate my account on Friday 5 Febraury but still no e-mail as I write this. It is very diffcult to contact Endesa online as I cannot find an e-mail address on their website and the online Chat is of no help.

Can anyone direct me or guide me further?
