For a good restaurant quite local, try Oso Blanco in Fuenta Alamo (about 15 minutes). The owners used to manage the restaurant at the top of Hacienda Del Alamo Golf.

I agree with AM1977 about Venta El Puerto 1. in Bano y Mendigo. Note that this is one of three all owned by the same family. Not tried the other two, but 1 is run by the sister and brother, who are both excellent hosts.

Looking forward to trying the restaurants in Roldan in September.

We have just refurnished our apartment using Muebles Ruta Del Mar just off the RM-19 dual carriageway to San Javier. Lots of people suggested DFS, but we are pleased that we stuck to local suppliers. Antonio was amazing, supplying and delivering everything quickly and at the time and dates promised, and assembles and fitted everything, including hanging the pictures. We could not fault the price or service.
