Unlike Estepona It's built. (Or nearly built). I know there are some quality issues with elements of it but surely all of the issues on this site, quality, delay, valuation, inability to get mortgage etc it hardly means you've been ripped off by "those b***ards". Just means you've fallen foul of Spanish developers, economic climate and circumstance. All risks associated with buying off plan surely.

Community thread: Perhaps we should get together, strength in numbers?

Development exists (albeit with some faults)

Developer is skint.

Sales Agent no longer exists.

Fair old list there.

My Link Villa seems fine. Bit dissapointed developer hasn't even started the add on's but don't see how I can lay that at OV's door.

Surprised anyone took there glossy's at face value. Rental, capital growth etc had to be speculative as with any development that has not even been started when the literature is produced.

I paid for a property and i'm going to get a property. Differs somewhat from what I expected but I 'GOT REAL' from the beginning and went into this with my eyes open.

Still don't see the fraud point unless you go for the developer. After all it was him that failed to deliver.

Kernow24 - I got same letter. Think it said 'considering'. Have spoke to administrator since and he has confirmed he is reconsidering in light of Aifos news.

Looks like they may stay in administration.

Administrator was ducking out mainly because one of creditors (Aifos) was going under. They now not going under so some hope.

Goodstitch - take a chill pill. Doesn't look to me like anyone's gone anywhere. And from what I hear everyone of them is skint. Flashy cars gone, houses about to be reposessed etc etc. Also - fraud is a bit strong isn't it. Didn't Manilva Beach get built and didn't most people complete on their properites. What happened with yours that makes you think fraud was comitted?
