That’s very kind Brian thank you. I hope other fellow buyers do the same. There must be lots of others that are in the same situation I was because back in 2007 there was a forum on EOS specifically for the Royal Dream buyers and there were loads of people writing about how exciting it was. That forum does not exist now as I’ve tried to find it. It would be great to talk to fellow buyers to see what they have done to get back what is rightfully theirs. Barry

Thank you. It is almost a certain that the banks appeal anything that goes against them and we we warned that it would happen. I think it just stalling for time but the new Spanish law dictates that all the deposits given to dodgy builders banks must be returned if there is nothing to show ie a villa. 

The interest was paid right back to day one but I don’t know what you mean about being awarded costs associated with the appeal. We paid court costs and legal fees and we still ended up wit more that we invested because the interest was accumulating each year. Barry

Hi everyone. 

The last time I posted on this forum was about nine years ago when all the excitement was waning away because we knew that Grupo Trampolin was just a big scam and we all fell for it. Well it was a scam on a big scale and so was our CAM bank guarantee. Almost four years ago I was contacted by a firm of solicitors called GM Legal in Guardamar asking if I would like to use their services to retrieve my lost money. I mulled it over and came to the conclusion that if I did nothing at all I would be waving goodbye to everything I had paid so I  contacted them. 

It involved going to see them in person twice and then sitting in a courtroom in Alicante listening to a fantastic lawyer from GM Legal fighting our case. That was September 2016 and in January 2017 the courts decision was that CAM bank (who is now Sabbadel) misused our money and had to pay our money back to us plus interest. The bank had two weeks to appeal which of course they did. So last year was a lengthy wait and I enquired what the hold up was and GM legal told me to be patient as any enquiry to the court would only delay things further. 

So, yesterday I got an email to say if I sent GM Legal my Spanish bank account details the money would be deposited within one to two days. I sent the details at five o clock last night and the money was in the account by ten this morning. 

Without mentioning any figures as I know anyone who bought on Royal Dream at Albudiete paid different amounts, I have received every Euro I spent with Grupo Trampolin and more even after GM Legal took their share and all court cost were paid. This has been such a simple process and I would urge anyone who is in the same position I was to contact these lawyers and get their hard earned cash back. That's good news for the people concerned, and surely if they are eligible to get refunds, then all of us who have lost out should be too. Can anyone inform me as to the exact steps which need to be taken to start the ball rolling to try and get my deposit back? As previously stated, I was one of the prospective purchasers on the Royal Dream site at Albudeite. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On this subject, many others were in the same situation as myself who regularly commented on the original blog in 2007. Where are you all now and why are you not taking part in this blog to try and resolve the matter?
